Veneers and engineered floors are made of composite wood or board with a thin layer of your chosen finish on top. Laminates have a tough patterned coating on top of board planks which click together for easy laying. We are able to order laminate for you and assist you with arrangements for fitting.

• Suitable for most rooms but go for specialist ranges in kitchens and bathrooms
• Some products are available with improved noise insulation for upstairs rooms.
• Laminates are cheaper than solid wood flooring and can warp and scratch so it is wise to invest in the best that you can afford.
• Please note that the Carpet Foundation have extensive research and evidence that laminate does not prevent allergies, and that in most cases carpet is the best flooring option.
